Lord of the Flies Second Half Notes

-The setting represents death, cleanness and abuse it takes place on an island. On that island there is a beast, which is a symbol of evil this evil slowly spreads to each boy on the island starting with diddly-squat and when the evil takes over someone it makes them want to assassinate whoever angers them ( fathead wants to overcome Piggie ever since he started complaining), It represents weakness because this island makes all of the boys feel weak and insecure because with no adults around and no rules they think e genuinely breath could be their last.
-This story is told from Ralphs POV and I roll in the hay this because it never said Ralph said it always referred to Ralph when it said I
-Since it was told by Ralphs POV when Jack took some of the children with him to the other lieu of the island to rebel against Ralph and Piggie, Ralph and the reader never knew what they were thinking/saying or doing.
-Secondary Characters: Piggie, Simon and Roger
Piggie is parallel with Ralph due to Ralph being the first someone he met on the island and being as weak as he is he could not contrast with him since the antagonist, Jack, hates him and will kill him.




Simon is also parallel with Ralph, being another outcast comparable Piggie he felt since everyone at first liked Ralph he should too and as the story goes on and on Simon closely becomes Ralphs sidekick.
Roger is against Ralph but not until Jack starts contrasting with him, Roger follows Jack and becomes a malicious killer.
-The main character (Ralph) does not swap too much throughout the novel until Jack and his family line tried to kill him. Before they were trying to kill him he just showed great attractorship, he tried making up rules made jobs for everyone but when Jack disagrees, Ralph had to change from a leader to a survivor because slowly everyone who was still parallel with him was dying.
